The Role


Working via one of the Big Four Consultancies, you will be working for a local government body as they undergo a transformation project.

There's lots of interesting work and the project is expected to continue for 2 to 3 years.

You will assist the client with their financial accounts production.

This is very much a "roll your sleeves up" and deliver tangible value requirement where you will be responsible for bringing together the knowledge and experience to enable the client toconcentrate on their priorities as a local authority.

This role can be homebased - with travel once a month to Birmingham or Manchester.


What We're Looking for

  • Ideally CIPFA qualified although both CIMA and ACCA qualifications will be considered
  • Experience working via a consultancy would be beneficial

Experience working for government bodies would be advantageous:

  • Track record of success during business transformations is a bonus
