Job Description:


General Position Purpose
Serve as a strategic, consultative partner to provide the best-in-class employee relations expertise and services.

Plan, develop, implement and promote activities and programs that enhance overall employee engagement, communication and employee relations while overseeing the compliance of company employment policies and practices with relevant employment regulations.


Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead, Investigate and conduct formal reviews and report outs regarding claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace concerns and other issues to reach conclusion and present findings for further action and proposed remediation
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Expertise (COEs), internal/external legal counsel, compliance team, and other internal investigative bodies, as necessary to reach an effective resolution employee matters
  • Identify and drive philosophies and programs to foster constructive employee relations and ensure the organizations' approach to its employees is fair, respectful and consistent
  • Maintain, gather, analyze and interpret data and metrics to develop recommendations and strategies to facilitate positive employee relations and engagement
  • Work with Leadership to reduce risks by developing programs, policies and procedures to promote fair and equitable employee relations and business decisions
  • Work with employees and leaders to review absences and if required, identify reasonable accommodations and partnering with benefits team on complex leave administration situations
  • Act as escalation point for employee representative bodies (such as works councils) and partner with HR teams for support
  • Evaluate and improve existing HR practices to introduce new perspectives, trends and processes
  • Ensure employment policies and practices comply with relevant employment regulations across EMEA
  • Receive, evaluate and respond appropriately to employee concerns with bestinclass approach
  • Monitor, advise and counsel on performance management processes from beginning stages of performance coaching feedback to development of performance improvement plans.
  • Design and drive training sessions to build manager capability in all areas of employee relations
  • Support management in the development of employees including coaching and mentoring

Qualifications:


Education, Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in running Employee Relations (including Employee Representation such as Works Councils) cases in the UK, France and Germany with strong legal knowledge in at least 1 of these jurisdictions
  • Ten years overall experience in Human Resource with a minimum of 5 years direct experience in Employee Relations required with additional experience in Tech
  • Supporting Global teams is preferred
  • Bachelors' degree in Human Resources, Employee Relations or related field
  • Solid working knowledge of the principles and practices of employee relations
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing programs that measurably impact positive employee relations
