Anticipated that travel to sites across Lewes, Newhaven and Eastbourne may be required once or twice a month. Homeworking for the remainder of the time.

We have a vacancy for a
Regeneration Monitoring Officer to work in our Regeneration team to monitor major projects and grant funding to help us maximise the positive impact of our work.


It's an exciting time for Lewes District and Eastbourne Borough Councils, with funding being secured from a range of sources to deliver our ambitious regeneration and community wealth-building ambitions.

Alongside this, we have also implemented local employment and training policies to maximise the opportunity for our resident and business communities.

The Regeneration team leads the Councils' work on sustainable and inclusive economies.


We're looking for a highly motivated individual that has an understanding of key economic development principles and is able to deal with a range of external partners to ensure we obtain appropriate data.

Ideally, you will have worked on policy implementation and / or regeneration grant funding previously, but more important is a demonstrable ability to multi-task and work closely with external stakeholders.


Excellent IT and communication skills are essential_._This is a high-profile role, with the Regeneration portfolio sitting with the Leader of each Council.


Interviews to be held on 8 and 9 February 2023.

£26,348.00-£27,844.00 per year
