Logistics Co-Ordinator on a full-time basis working closely with SJI Operations Manager & Director. The Logistics Co-Ordinator will support the business with all aspects of shipping and logistics. Ensuring all customs clearance is in line with Titan Torque compliance procedures. They will be responsible for the organising and facilitating movement of assets and inventory between regions. Timely, cost-effective shipping of all equipment whilst adhering to standard operating procedures and policies and applicable law. The Logistics Coordinator is an integral part of the supply chain process and helping achieve the company's objectives.


RESPONSIBILITES:


  • Organising and facilitating the movement of assets and inventory between regions to optimise asset utilisation, liaising with all global locations in order to ensure the timely, accurate and efficient movement of tools to meet operational demands.
  • Creation of Import commercial invoice & clearance instructions & Export commercial invoices
  • Arrangement of Port to Port shipments
  • Liaise with freight forwarders to ensure efficient shipping of equipment to worldwide destinations.
  • Obtain export and import entries from freight agents to complete logístical files required to satisfy audit requirements.
  • Provide logístical knowledge to all parties on site and identify means of shipping equipment.
  • Liaise with all Warehouse and Stores colleagues to ensure the efficient and accurate control of imports and exports, confirming full compliance with company and legislative requirements.
  • Liaise with customers globally in relation to shipments and document control in international locations.
  • Communicate with the Operations Manager when required to ensure operations are in line with requirements and are compliant.
  • Check and validate all freight and packing invoices for import/export items.
  • Obtain quotes from freight providers.
  • Maintaining proactive, effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, including freight companies.
  • Prepare projectrelated materials, such as project work packs, equipment loadout paperwork and certification.
  • Maintain SharePointbased document control system for both projectrelated and companywide documentation.
  • Prioritise workload, communicate effectively and support colleagues to meet internal and external stakeholder's demands.
  • Has a responsibility to set the standard(s) & ensure that work is completed in the correct manner

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferable to have experience in

  • IT Literacy & Microsoft Office competency
  • Track record of experience with import and export compliance.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to respond to and effectively prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure, as well as having attention to detail, confidentiality, and patience.
