FLOFUEL SUPPORT LIMITED, LAKESIDE INDUSTRIAL PARK, COTSWOLD DENE, STANDLAKE, OXON, OX29 7PL

Stores Person / Material Control / Warehouse
FloFuel and FlightLine Support design and manufacture aircraft refuelling vehicles and aviation refuelling equipment.

This includes hydrant dispensers, refuelling trucks, bowsers and other aircraft fuelling equipment such as refuelling steps, pumps, filter skids and master meters.

We also manufacture and supply Aviation fuel storage equipment, QC spares and consumables to support aircraft refuelling operations


We are looking for someone to join our busy Stores team.

Stores experience is preferred and a knowledge of accounts packages such as Sage would be an advantage, a "can do attitude" is essential.

Responsibilities:


Goods In

  • Identify the requirement for parts to be ordered from suppliers.
  • You will be required to highlight any long leadtime parts to management that could affect any Project.
  • Placing of purchase orders with Suppliers once approved by management.
  • Receiving/unloading of goods from suppliers. (Forklift licence an advantage)
  • You will be required from time to time to collect parts from the suppliers.
  • Stamp, sign, date and physically verify the goods received from suppliers to the delivery note and purchase order placed.
  • Highlight any discrepancies on the delivery note or note any damages before signing the delivery note.
  • Query with suppliers if there are any short deliveries to the purchase order Issued.
  • Daily booking in of goods received against the open purchase orders.
  • Clearly mark goods received for specific project in order for it to be easily identifiable when required by the factory for production.
  • Daily pack away the goods received from suppliers.
  • Daily submission of signed delivery notes to the accounts department.
  • Follow up with Suppliers on overdue purchase orders.
  • You will be responsible to return any unused parts into the system previously booked out for a project that are being returned unused.
  • Investigate if unused parts should be returned to suppliers.
  • Discuss with design if BOM's need amending to reflect unused parts.

Goods Out

  • You will be responsible for picking of parts for the projects in the factory, service engineer Jobs and spares to be sent to customers.
  • Only pick parts if there is a
    Parts Picking List, service engineer Job number or a project job number to allocate the picked parts against on the system.
  • You will be required to sign to ensure parts that were picked agree to parts picking list, service engineer job requirement or a project job bill of material.
  • Ensure shipped parts are packaged appropriately for the courier.
  • Getting weight and dimensions for shipped orders.
  • Taking photographic evidence of shipped parts.
  • You will be responsible for loading the vehicles for the parts being shipped.
  • You will be responsible to ensure parts shipped got delivered to the customer.
  • You will be responsible for issuing parts to the Service Engineers and Factory workers.
  • Accurately complete the parts issue register every time parts are issued to the service engineers or factory and the employee's name taking ownership of the parts.
  • Accurate daily capturing of the parts to projects jobs and service engineers on the system.
  • Accurate daily filing of parts information in the project folders.

Other General Duties

  • Assist in preparing the bill of materials for the projects.
  • Assist in issuing the bill of materials for the projects.
  • You will be responsible to identify any stock quantity issues on the system.
  • Maintain minimum and maximum stock ordering levels to ensure we do not run out of stock.
  • You will be responsible to ensure the housekeeping in the stores are up to date.
  • You will be responsible to ensure there is appropriate labelling of the stock and projects to be easily identifiable.
  • Maintain the areas in the yard area where stock is being kept.
  • You will be required to perform a weekly stock cycle count of 15 items.
  • It's your responsibility to investigate and stock differences identified during stock takes.
  • You will be responsible to process all the stock adjustments once signed by management.
  • You will be required to maintain the supplier details and costs. Any price increase needs to highlighted to management.
  • It will be your responsibility to ensure the Stores Room is locked at all times when you are not there.
Working hours 40 hours per week, Mon-Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm


Salary:
£18,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
