Description

Residential Services offers accommodation for over 8500 students across 3 main residential sites, our diverse population includes those attending a course in preparation for university study, undergraduates and postgraduates from both the UK and other parts of the world.

In addition we offer a range of accommodation options during the summer vacation period for both students and conferences.


Communicating with our prospective students and in house residents is key priority for our division and we have created a new role of Communications and Marketing Officer to ensure this priority is achieved as well as taking responsibility for updating and maintaining our written documentation, website and social media.


We're looking for someone with a 'can do' attitude who is not afraid to question ideas and suggest better ways of ensuring we hear our student voice, you should be passionate about communicating and engaging with residents.

You will be integral in assisting with the delivery of an excellent student experience in our halls.

Key areas of responsibility also include working with colleagues within ResLife, Sport Services the wider University - including the University's central communications team and other key stakeholders.

You should have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with experience in communications and engagement with young people and, preferably, students.
