About the role


We have an exciting opportunity to join our Packaging Division as a Regional Demand Planner, co-ordinating and supporting the commercial planning process within our Northern Europe region.

This is a key role within the cluster that will contribute to theongoing commercial development of the business.


As our Regional Demand Planner, you will be providing support and challenging the norm through analysis and insight, to influence commercial decisions related to the volume and eventually revenue forecast.

You will need to understand, challenge and communicateto the business on areas where we can improve forecasting performance, providing insight on key drivers around volume, revenue, and driving action throughout the function.


We want you to manage the commercial planning process, collaborating with other business partners to develop consistent demand forecasts that identify new business opportunities, volume growth opportunities and customer risks, and helping to develop theS&OP process.

You will work closely with other business partners to deliver a Commercial Excellence programme that provides the business with the tools required to develop greater insight into product and customer profitability and drive value.


A key part will be in the implementation and management of the new forecasting o9 tool from a Regional view, becoming the North product owner.


Location
We can offer remote working with this position, with occasional travel required to our Packaging sites across Northern Europe.


About you

  • Educated to degree level, with an accounting qualification desirable but not essential (ACA, CIMA or ACCA)
  • At least five years of experience in relevant positions, with a strong focus on demand forecasting
  • Experience working in a fastpaced manufacturing, retail or FMCG environment
  • Experience with S&OP operation and implementation
  • Highly commercial and influential, with proven business partnering and leadership skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (specifically Excel), able to interpret large amounts of financial data and draw meaningful business recommendations
