Birdston Day Care, Birdston Road, Kirkintilloch

Hours: 40 hours per week

Hourly Rate :
£11.55 per hour

Shifts : 5 days out of 7 / 0830am to 5.30pm

About Us
Pacific Care Limited is an established care provider bringing together services and care home facilities for older persons.

Birdston Day Care Home are now looking for a Senior Care Assistant who will have supervisory duties, help lead a team and work alongside the Daycare Manager

Job Purpose:

To plan, implement and supervise the provision of quality care in conjunction with Clients.

To ensure Service Users retain their dignity and individuality.

To get involved in the general activities of facility

To maintain a safe and secure environment for Service Users, Staff Members and Visitors.

Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications

Essential:

Genuine interest in and experience of working with, the older person

Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in English

Satisfactory PVG Record Check

Working towards an SVQ3 qualification

Desired:

Team player

Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes

Previous supervisory experience

SVQ Level 3 in Care
