Safeguarding Clerical Officer

Kirklees District

Dewsbury

One part time post (21 hours) Job share

Monday - Wednesday

Permanent

Applications are invited for the role of Safeguarding Clerical Officer to work within the Live Child Sexual Exploitation Team.


An integral part of the role will be liaising with Social Care and other involved agencies to ensure information is appropriately shared via typed reports, phone calls and face to face interaction.

You will be expected to research the police systems in order to gather relevant information and present it clearly. You will also be asked to type up intelligence reports and record crime occurrences.


Applicants should be aware that it is not always possible to carry out adequate vetting checks on persons who have not been resident within the UK for the last three years.

Therefore, where this applies, applicants may be refused on the grounds that it was not possible to vet them to the appropriate standard.
