Description

Hales Group are looking for a Befriender / Personal Assistant for a blind lady based in Diss, Norfolk. NO PERSONAL CARE.

2 afternoons per week - days can be flexible. Total of 5 hours per week.

Duties include:

Computer based work. This will involve ordering clothes and other online duties.
Helping set up electrical items so a good knowledge of the latest gadgets is beneficial.
Taking her out places of interest, garden centres, supermarkets, and for appointments.
Excellent knowledge of the local and surrounding area of Diss, Norfolk is important, as she relies on her aide to look up location of places that she would like to travel to.

If you are motivated, caring, reliable and pro-active in your approach and are looking for a rewarding role, have an interest in walking, gardening and shopping, visiting places of interest and possess good IT / internet skills please apply.

A driving licence is essential for this role.

£15.00 per hour and mileage allowance.

For the above opportunity, a meeting will initially be arranged with our client in the Hales Office. Training, guidance and supervision to the successful applicant will be given by the current personal assistant.
