Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and focused individual to join the Restorative Dentistry administration team at the Eastman Dental Hospital.

You will undertake a key role in a busy and demanding service, ensuring we deliver on a range of targets including clinic and theatre utilisation, RTT compliance and waiting list management.

You will work closely with your colleagues, with a view to providing a streamlined pathway for patients in the service.

At times, you will be actively involved in the patient's full pathway from referral to treatment.

You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a drive and energy to improve the patient experience.

Knowledge of 18 week pathways and EPIC would be advantageous.

Provide an efficient and effective administrative service to a multi disciplinary team.

Actively manage administrative processes and co ordinate care associated with patient pathways, including validation, bookings and solving queries that arise.

Ensure access and quality targets are met, identifying potential delays and escalating this to a team leader or supervisor.

Provide patients with a primary point of contact between the multi disciplinary team and their colleagues, patients, relatives and GPs, providing relevant information and assisting with queries.
