What will my role look like?

We have an exciting opportunity available for an Accounts Payable Team Leader In this role you will manage and oversee a team of dedicated Accounts Payable Clerks

What would my main responsibilities be?

Monitoring the end-to-end cash process & investigating any discrepancies in between
Managing a team of AP Clerks
Reconciliation, Payments and Controls (RPC)
Pre-disbursement controls
Payment generation - review daily payment proposal and executing payment file to bank
Direct Debit monitoring
Balance sheet account reconciliation
Preparation of monthly supplier statement reconciliations
Monitoring of month end activities for accounts payable
Invoice Entry (IE)
Posting invoices / credit notes per business requests and ensuring they are coded correctly in the accounting system
Vendor master database maintenance
Pro-active management of supplier accounts and monitoring of ageing
Communicating and liaising with suppliers to resolve any invoicing, payment or other queries
Release of payment files, manual ad hoc payments
Other ad-hoc tasks as require
Support to clients, vendors
Communicating and liaising with suppliers to resolve any invoicing, payment or other queries
Cooperation with other departments
Liaising with the broader finance team and Team Leader to provide regular updated on daily/weekly and Monthly activities

Minimum 1 years' experience within an Accounts Payable role
Ability to manage and oversee a team
Highly organized and efficient
