Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated
Financial Modeller to join us at Corio's rapidly growing offshore wind business and support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy.

Corio was developed under the Green Investment Group and remains a subsidiary of Macquarie Group (Australia's largest investment bank) so we have strong financial support to drive the business forward.

In this newly created role, you will report to the FP&A Lead as an integral member of the overall Finance team.

You will develop, build, and maintain, sophisticated financial models that consolidate wind project economics and central costs to eloquently bring the numbers to life.

During periods of modelling downtime, you will support the FP&A function with budgeting, forecasting, annual business plans, and ad-hoc analysis.

This will bring structure and clarity to a sea of information and require a visionary approach and someone who's comfortable with combining different data sets.

This is a unique opportunity to help design and establish the FP&A collateral and management information data sets from a blank canvas.

You will need advanced Excel
modelling skills and be comfortable with macros.

You will use your strong relationship building skills to engage with and influence a variety of key stakeholders including the CFO and senior leadership team across the business and think strategically in order to continue to identify process improvement to drive efficiencies.

Essential skills and experience include minimum 3 years' demonstrable experience of building and maintaining large Excel financial models in a complex organisation.

You will have outstanding communication skills and strong relationship management skills. A well-developed attention to detail with capacity to appreciate the big picture.

Prior experience of working in an analytical role in a fast-paced and dynamic environment will hold you in good stead to be successful in this role.

You will also need to be a self-starter who is comfortable navigating complexity and play a key role in establishing new FP&A collateral.

Desirable skills and experience include time spent at an investment bank or transactions services at the Big Four whilst gaining a formal chartered accountancy qualification.

If you have a growth mindset, are curious and have a passion for the role of renewables in the green transition, we want to hear from you.

The role is based in London with hybrid working (minimum two days in our Farringdon office).
