Finance Assistant to join our busy team on a permanent basis at our Stowmarket Office on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Checking and validating upload of Supplier files (Excel format) into Account's system.
  • Managing the installation pack process and raising relevant client invoicing. Also assisting in any other client invoicing as required into the Nav accounts system.
  • Processing of manufacturer rebates
  • Reconciling Petty Cash and inputting into the Nav accounts system
  • Company Credit card Statements
  • Ensure backup information complete
  • Assisting the Management Accountant in ensuring all financial information required for Senior Management meetings both internal and external is available and accurate.
  • Collating information and preparing schedules for yearend audit.
  • Checking, coding and inputting both Sales and Purchase Invoices into our Accounts system
  • Debtor management including chasing of outstanding debt and dealing with queries.
  • Produce Client specific reports using agreed timescales to provide regular updates on work completed and outstanding.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience of working within a finance team would be an advantage, with strong mathematical abilities essential
  • AAT Qualifications would be beneficial
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proficient user of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Be professional at all times; maintaining confidentiality
  • Be able to manage many different tasks in a timely manner
  • Be able to adhere to deadlines and identify issues which may cause delays

Salary:
£20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

  • Monday to Friday
