The Role
Major Recruitment Ltd are currently recruiting for an experienced Cleaning Contracts Managerbased with our client close to Loughborough. This role is a permanent position requiring an immediate start.

The role of Cleaning Contracts Manager is a busy, varied, and field based role.

The duties of the role are as follows:

  • Overseeing the operations of multiple sites and their operatives in Leicester City and surrounding areas
  • Visiting all sites on rotation over a 2 week period
  • Based at multiple sites by Visiting them in and around Leicester City and surrounding areas
  • Ensuring that sites are operating to area mangers specifications
  • Implement procedures according to specifications
  • Ensure staff are following health and safety procedures with appropriate PPE etc
  • Submit payroll to area manager fortnightly
  • Manage staff rotas, sickness and holidays stepping in if short staffed
  • Submit daily reports to area manager
  • Ensuring sites have correct levels of supplies
  • Working spilt shifts to ensure day is covered (5/6am starts to 8pm finishes)

The Hours
30-35 hours per week field based

Flexibility is required and you will plan your own days. Operatives on site work as early as 5am and as late as 8pm. This will require spilt shifts from you
- (For example 5am - 7am then 5pm - 8pm)_


Your Profile


In order to be considered for this position you will have a minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar role as a cleaning contracts manager ideally within the cleaning industry.

You will live locally to Leicester - due to spilt shifts needed, travelto and from site twice per day is required


You will be a strong communicator with a bright and enthusiastic work ethic as well as a professional face of the business exterior.

You will have an "all hands on deck attitude" to work.

A DBS will be carried out

A full clean driving licence is required.

You will ideally be
immediately available to start


The Salary
£11 - £12 per hour (rising after 3 months to £13 per hour) - depending on experience

Company van provided

Fuel card for business mileage provided

Company tablet and mobile phone provided
