3 month contract with the opportunity to extend- 30 hour per week contract

- Providing support to the finance department by managing daily accounting tasks.
- Preparation of financial statements, reports, memos, invoices letters, and other documents.
- Handling accounts payable and receivable.
- Completing bank reconciliations.
- Entering financial information into appropriate software programs.
- Managing company ledgers.
- Processing invoices and payment runs.
- Assisting the finance department with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records, and statements.
The Successful Applicant:
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- A solid understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly with Excel.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
- An eye for detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.
