Description

Your New Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Resourcing Assistant to join our award winning Recruitment team in Liverpool, supporting our busy Secure infrastructure Account.

This role will be a hybrid role, with a mix of office and home working in the Liverpool Matchworks office.

Occasional travel will be expected for assessment centres and recruitment events.

Amey creates great experiences for users of public buildings and workplaces, with a continuous drive towards low carbon solutions.

We deliver bespoke asset and facilities management services designed specifically for our clients who operate in complex environments - including defence, justice, education, and health.

We deliver essential services across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland - looking after 141 schools and colleges, 18,000 military homes and 60 prisons.

We support the UK justice sector by providing secure FM within prisons, court and transport services, and prisoner escorting.

We are one the UK's core defence contractors and ensure our UK Armed Forces have suitable workplaces, vehicles, equipment, and housing.

We also maintain NHS estates for Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust, and a wide variety of workplaces for public sector organisations including National Highways, The UK Hydrographic Office, and local authorities.

As our Resourcing Assistant, you will be responsible for sourcing key talent for the business using a variety of methods.

You will have ownership of your own roles and will be responsible for the whole recruitment cycle of each position, including CV reviews, arranging interviews, conducting telephone screening, managing the offer process and other administrative tasks where necessary.

The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours, Monday - Friday.

Work-life balance and flexibility are key for our success. We empower our people to make choices that are right for them, with hybrid, part-time and flexible work patterns. And with a network of offices across the UK, we're open to discussing working options that suit you.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing a varied workload of both volume roles and nonvolume roles
  • Liaising with your stakeholders, taking job briefs, attending weekly catchup calls and managing hiring manager expectations
  • Attending and hosting recruitment events, particularly around our peak periods

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Previous experience in a fast passed recruitment role
  • Experience in managing volume recruitment
  • The ability the multitask and prioritise appropriately
  • Experience in strong stakeholder management
  • Experience in using an ATS or similar

In addition to this, it would be desirable if you had a CIPD Level 5 or above, although this is not essential as we will provide you with the required development you need to bring you up to speed.
