ISMMART Pharmaceuticals Industries, a dynamic and innovative startup in the pharmaceutical industry, is in the process of establishing a groundbreaking pharmaceutical company committed to transforming healthcare.

We are currently seeking an exceptional and detail-oriented professional to join our team as the Assistant Director of Storage & Logistics.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of storage and logistics operations within our organization.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the storage and warehousing activities, including inventory management, space utilization, and compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
  • Develop and implement robust storage procedures to ensure the safe handling and storage of pharmaceutical products.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and execute effective logistics strategies.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities, ensuring timely and efficient transportation, distribution, and delivery of products.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage performance, and ensure compliance with service level agreements to optimize logistics operations.
  • Implement inventory control systems and processes to monitor stock levels, track product movements, and minimize inventory discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to optimize inventory levels and manage costs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines governing storage and logistics operations, including Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and relevant transportation regulations.
  • Collaborate with regulatory affairs and quality assurance teams to implement and maintain appropriate documentation and quality control measures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance storage and logistics processes.
  • Analyze data, identify areas for optimization, and implement best practices to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in storage and logistics roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Experience in managing storage facilities, warehouse operations, and transportation logistics.
  • Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a storage and logistics team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
  • Indepth knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles, methodologies, and best practices, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex logistics data, identify trends, and make datadriven decisions.
  • Proven ability to solve problems and implement process improvements to optimize storage and logistics operations.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Resilience and ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with regulations and guidelines governing pharmaceutical storage and logistics operations, including Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and transportation regulations.
