Student and Education Services is one of the largest Professional Services departments in the University, compromised of a diverse range of teams who share the same passion for enhancing our students' experiences and supporting their wellbeing.

The Exams and Assessment Team in the Faculty of Medicine have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced administrator to join as a Senior Administrative Officer.

Major elements of the posts will be to manage the day-to-day operational support to students and staff for all aspects of the Faculty's Exams and Assessment activities.

The role involves the setting up and smooth running of all assessments including e-Assignment, practical exams including OSCEs and other assessment types, releasing marks, updating University systems, servicing committees, management of the external examiner process in liaison with other teams as well as updating annual assessment policies.


You will be an excellent team player with a proven ability to work proactively and with excellent attention to detail.

You will be well organised and adaptable, taking a proactive approach in reviewing processes and practices. Excellent communication, organisation and inter-personal skills are required, as is a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

The salary range provides an indication of the incremental progression in the role. The starting salary for a full-time post will be £27,929 and will increment annually.
