Finance Business Partner - Leyland - Hybrid Working

Your new company
A global business are recruiting a Finance Business Partner.

Reporting to an impressive head of finance, this role will deliver a high-quality finance service to decision makers across the business.

This will involve management and project accounting, performancemonitoring (financial and non-financial), budgeting and forecasting, providing insightful analysis and recommendations, business cases and tenders.


Your new role

Work with Senior Managers to understand current performance, produce detailed forecasts and insightful analysis to improve basis for financial decision making and cost control.


  • Provide support to the businesses providing challenge and delivery of targets ensuring opportunities are maximised and risks are appropriately highlighted and mitigated.
  • Support the sales team with commercial agreements, incentives and rewards to ensure spend is in line with budgets and forecasts and agent profitability maximised.
  • To develop, lead and manage the budgeting, forecasting and planning process to ensure challenging and robust business plans that support long term business growth whilst submitting to group in line with strict deadlines.
  • Communication of performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities to maximise profitability.
  • Support of ad hoc analysis and appraisal of business initiatives to help prioritise and drive incremental sales and profitability within the business.
**What you'll need to succeed
**5+ years experience in commercial / financial roles ideally with a CIMA/ACCA or ACA qualification. You will be considered as a reputable and credible leader with a proven track record of achieving positive commercial results.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to visualise opportunities, reengineer and improve business processes
  • Commercially astute with the ability to identify opportunities to improve revenue and profits
  • Numerate and analytical thinker, selfmotivated and solution orientated
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable with communicating at all levels
  • Able to work in a team environment and autonomously
  • Reporting and Presentation
