Clinical Fellow Obs and Gynae - Slough, United Kingdom - Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Clinical Fellow (ST6-7) to join our Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department at Wexham Park Hospital and Frimley Park Hospital.
The post holder will:
- Assist in the day to day running of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit, including outpatient clinic and ward work.
- Participate in the second on call rota for Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Oncall commitments of 1 in 10.
- Assist in the training of FY2, GPVTS, ST1 and ST2 juniors, and ST3
- Provide input into the department's teaching/audit programme.
- Be the senior night registrar lead on site over the weekends with consultants on call from home
Experience:
- General experience in O&G equivalent to ST5 level, ability to perform caesarean sections independently is essential.

The post offers exposure to theatre sessions, gynaecology outpatient clinics, antenatal clinics, obstetrics and gynaecology on calls. Allocation of duties can be tailored according to the training needs and career intentions of the applicant. There are excellent opportunities for audit and research.
The post holder will have consultant-led education and supervision and will be supported in their professional development.
