Junior Desktop Support Engineer / Junior 2nd Line Support Analyst / Junior IT Support Analyst - Windows 7/10, MS O365, Active Directory, Group Policy, MS Exchange, SCCM.

c£35k +Bonus & Benefits. City of London / Hybrid (3 days onsite).

Junior Desktop Support Analyst / Junior IT Support Analyst required by multi-national financial services corporation to assist in ongoing business as usual support tasks, for a user base of approx 1200 from its HQ in London.

You will respond to support issues by identifying problems, resolving them over the phone, via remote software support tools or at the desktop.

Support calls will relate to desktop technologies Win7 & Win10 (Laptops, PC's, Macs, Mobile Devices including SamsungAndroid, Blackberry and iPhones) as well as basic server and network issues with Windows Server Active Directory/Group Policy including user account creation and maintenance, MS Exchange MS Office O365 products.

Training and mentoring will be provided by othermembers of the desktop support engineering team.

We are searching for a Junior Desktop Support / Junior 2nd Line Support Analyst / Junior IT Support Engineer who has gained experience working in a similar role (ideally) within a large, corporate environment within the financial services arena.

You may recentlyhave completed a placement year or your first engagement and be looking to takie the next step in your career.

You will be a self-motivated individual capable of adapting to new environments quickly and effectively.

Ideally you will have commercial experiencecombined with solid academic background and a mix of technical qualifications from:
A+, MCP, CCNA, MCSE, MCITP etc.

You will have recent commercial exposure to desktop support covering core desktop technologies Win7/Win10, MS Office /Office 365, printer networks, digital scanners, video conferencing equipment etc and mobile device (ideally Samsung Android and iPhone) support.

You will have some exposure to creating users in Active Directory/Group Policy and MS Exchange/O365. A sportive attitude, willingness to learn and strong and communication skills will be required.
