Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Supervising Social worker to join Fostering Team in Calderdale Council.

Key duties of the role include:

Supervise and support foster carers providing long-term care to children and young people, including connected carers.
Focus on improving placement stability and outcomes for children and young people.
Assess carers and determine support needs for those seeking legal permanence through special guardianship.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of fostering legislation is essential.
Comprehensive induction program and regular personfocused supervision provided for wellbeing, training, and development.
Manage your own diary and enjoy the flexibility of working from home, with access to an office base for meetings.
Collaborate with other practitioners to support the children and young people of Calderdale.
