Description

Job Summary:

To have a inquisitive mind and to ensure that information provided to Directors is accurate and comprehensive.

Other office/sales tasks required, answering the telephone, project work etc


Duties:


  • Carry out both cash collection and prepare creditor payment to the bank
  • Perform data entry to record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Be responsible for the collation of month end data for accountant
  • Assist in reconciling financial statements and reports for all managers
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents
  • Support Managers in daily accounting/stock control tasks/month end tasks
  • Utilise Sage accounting software
  • Be willing to cover for team members for holiday/sickness cover

Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a financial environment
  • Must have a sound knowledge of all office packages specifically excel
  • Proven experience with data entry and accounting software
  • Familiarity with financial services and accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Pay:
£28,000.00 per year

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
