Head of Transformation Delivery

We are looking for inspirational leaders to join our central Transformation team as Heads of Transformation Delivery.


These are opportunities for highly experienced transformational leaders to join our world-renowned organisation in critical leadership roles that will continue to drive our aspirational transformation journey towards a Better BA.


The roles are responsible for identifying, formulating, and driving change across specific segments of the BA transformation portfolio, supporting our aspiration to Build a Better BA.

Acting as internal consultants, the roles work closely with different parts of the organisation such as operations, engineering, customer experience and sustainability to bring best practices in Transformation.

These roles will report to the Director of Transformation.

The Heads of Transformation Delivery will be experienced people managers.

leading up to 15 direct and indirect reports including Programme Managers, Project Managers and PMO Leads with the ability to influence senior leaders across a large organisation, whilst upskilling and empowering project teams to drive impact across diverse workstreams.

Duties & Responsibilities

Architecting the transformation: defines financial and non-financial impact of portfolio activity and supports BA Management Committee and Directorate Leaders in structuring and defining initiatives.

Robust delivery: leads and manages teams of transformation programme & project managers, co-ordinating and bringing all parts of BA and IAG support functions together. Maximises impact and ensures robust development and delivery of transformation initiatives across portfolio,

Thought leadership and challenge: Thought Leader and constructive challenger, encourages ambition and helps define goals and dependencies.

Continuous improvement: continuously identifies and drives improvements in effectiveness of transformation delivery mechanisms and tools.

Coaching and mentoring: role models effective ways of working in a transformational environment, coaches business owners and other colleagues to develop transformational skills.

Inspirational leadership: communicates the vision, objectives and achievements across the business to build excitement and energy for transformation

Problem solving: Leads teams in problem solving and analytics to define solutions and impact.

About you

  • Credibility as an
    experienced and senior leader of Transformation.
  • Proven track record in leading and delivering large scale transformation activities across complex organisations with clear structure and outputs.
  • Experienced people leader and manager of diverse direct and indirect teams
  • Stakeholder influence and engagement up to MC level.
Experience from relevant industries (e.g. travel, transport, aviation) and functional expertise (e.g., engineering, operations, commercial), an advantage.
