Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult is recruiting a
PMO Co-ordinator - contract to March 2024 for the site in Blyth, to assist the Project Management team in ensuring that all projects and programmes are successfully delivered.

The role will provide project co-ordination and effective tracking and communication of project status and metrics.

What will I do?

  • Support creation of change notes, technical queries, early warnings etc.
  • Support preparation of project forecasts, including monthly financial reporting
  • Track resource costs and material budgets to update the procurement register
  • Ensure governance standards are adhered to and any nonconformances highlighted
  • Ensure consistent internal and external progress reporting, including status updates, risks and issues
  • Report on noncompliance with ORE Catapult Project Delivery policies and procedures
  • Support production of impartial report on project portfolio performance, providing real time, comprehensive and prioritised view of all projects
  • Be able to inform project managers of strategies and plans for most effective deployment of financial resources
What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in a Project support role and knowledge of project process
  • Understanding of project management and delivery, including life cycle stages and stage gate principles
  • Familiarity with working in engineerled technical project environments
  • Ability to track and manage large, complex budgets
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, including giving presentations
  • Problem solving, decision making, timemanagement and organisational skills
  • Experience with MS Office suite, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
