Buyer - Fitout

Antrim

Salary - Open to discussion

With over 20 years expertise in their field, I am delighted to be working with a leading fitout company who are seeking for a buyer to join their successful team on a permanent full time basis

Reporting to the Procurement Manager you will

  • Provide prices for all materials included in project budgets and drawings
  • Generate POs, track order status, and coordinate with suppliers to expedite deliveries and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise
  • Deal effectively with challenges with suppliers and the flow of materials.
  • Ensure compliance with the safety, health and environment requirements of materials and services.
  • Liaise closely with estimators at tender stage to ensure that an accurate project cost is provided.
  • Create and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Identify potential suppliers and new products
  • Keep detailed records and maintain a well‐organised work schedule
  • Other adhoc duties

About you

  • Previous experience of working within a similar role
  • Proficient with MS Office
