Description
My client is a world-leading expert in assurance and risk management on the forefront or energy transition.

They are looking for an experienced Mechanical Pipeline Design Engineer to join them to work within the UK's onshore, gas distribution/transmissionindustry.

They are looking for a permanent member of staff and offer a competitive salary and package.


Role:


To provide expert advice and guidance to customers as they look to shift into decarbonised areas such as CCS, BioGas and Hydrogen Production.

Key responsibilities

  • Review clients documentation and submissions
  • Provide expertise of piping materials and advise on guidelines and procedures
  • Ensuring CDM regulations are built into designs
  • Contribute to technical aspects of bid documentations
  • Undertake on site inspections and audits where necessary

Key experience required:

  • BEng Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process or Gas Engineering
  • Chartership status preferred (or aiming toward)
  • Onshore Gas Design Experience within UK
  • Strong working knowledge of UK natural gas legislative compliance issues
  • Full UK driving licence

Location:

Edinburgh (Hybrid)
