As an HR and Volunteering Advisor you will proactively support the HR Team to provide a coherent, complete and up to date human resources system.

Responsibilities include:

Lead on recruitment processes, ensuring timely preparation of authorisation of vacancies, advertising of vacancies, preparation of job descriptions, shortlisting and interview packs, preparation of provisional/formal offer letters, undertaking of preemployment checks
Sickness and Absence recording, monitoring and reporting concerns/trends to Line Managers.
Preparation of monthly data statistics for HR Metrics; reporting on data relating to sickness and absence, training, headcount and starters and leavers.
Managing general queries relating to pay/payroll, directing any queries to the correct source and responding on their behalf
Facilitate the Staff & Volunteer Engagement Group meetings

This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave until November 2023 based in Rotherham.

Salary:
£21,690 - £24,858

Hours:
Full time (37.5 hours per week)
