Responsible for all aspects of Transport from our Ely Site, Including DTS and Same Days

Also looking after and managing the loading teams

Leading multi-functional teams to ensure the delivery of cost effective logistics solutions that exceed OTIF expectations through the effective and efficient use of internal transport, third party hauliers and UK mail services.

Responsible for a team of 8 direct working closely with site and business sales, purchasing, commercial and manufacturing functions, responsible for the development of systems, processes and people in order to drive business performance through customer satisfaction and cost effective logistics solutions.

Co-Ordinatingand coaching the Bulk and DTS teams to make sure orders are processed in a timely manner

Co-Ordinating the loading team and ensuring loading times are met

Making sure customers receive the bulk deliveries in a timely and most effective way

Making sure customers receive DTS deliveries in a timely and most effective way

Compile weekly cost reports for the Supply Chain Manager to Anayalis

Manage delivery costs v Estimates

Part of the site Leadership team around Health and Safety objectives and improvements

Looking after all exporting of Goods to Europe

Making sure all relevant paperwork is in order for all audits around ISO,BRC and FSC
