Finance Manager, Architecture Practice, Up to £70,000

Key Responsibilities:

Cover all financial aspects of running the practice.
To ensure that accurate and timely information about project costs is available to the management team.
Close interaction with the senior architects running the projects
To be part of steering the implementation of the new software system "Rapport".
The new Finance Manager will report to the Directors and will attend all important business meetings including Board Meetings.
Preparation of monthly management accounts and other financial reports
Administration of the monthly payroll
Liaising with the practice's external accountants over the preparation of statutory accounts
Adhering to all regulatory and compliance (including taxation and payroll related) matters.

Skills & Requirements:

Ideally ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with 45 years PQE
Ability to multitask
Solutions focused
Excellent communication skills
Systems knowledge ideally in "Rapport"
High attention to detail
Excellent presentation and personal skills
Practical and proven track record in business although not necessarily in the world of architecture or construction.
Demonstrable experience covering all matters related to accounting reporting and forecasting.
Proactive selfstarter by nature always looking for opportunities to add value to the business
Attention to detail. Accuracy essential
Hands on. Flexible. Does what it takes to get the job done.
Strong work ethic but able to enjoy themselves too.
