Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding various metal components. This is a great opportunity for someone with welding experience and mechanical knowledge to join our team.

A lot of our work is on various sites so will need to be able work quickly and accurately in different locations/surroundings.

• Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including MMA, MIG and TIG.
• Fabricate and assemble metal components according to drawings and specifications
• Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and finish metal pieces
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet standards
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any fabrication or welding issues
• Maintain a clean and organised work area

You will expected to have:

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication.
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in metal fabrication.
• Ability to fabricate, weld, and work with a variety of metals.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Clean driving licence is essential.

A weld test on various processes will be required at interview stage.


Job Types:
Full-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract

Contract length: 3 months


Salary:
£11.00-£14.00 per hour
