Part Time Bookkeeper
JOB SUMMARY
Respond provide reactive maintenance services to clients in Essex, London and Kent.
We are looking for a organised, talented and personable individual to join the team as an in-house bookkeeper to further assist our rapid growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- General bookkeeping duties; reconciliation of accounts within Xero, keeping all ledgers up to date and accurate, allocating correct cost centres for expenses, updating incoming payment against client remittance advices
- Monthly Payroll submissions to our accountant
- Credit control, chasing and reviewing outstanding accounts
- Producing monthly management accounts for the Director
- Liaising with Accountant in preparation of end of year accounts
- Credit control and chasing outstanding invoices, producing and sending customer statements
- Paying of company bills and supplier invoices on time
- Assisting with the implementing of new company procedures for credit control, payroll and HR
- Other general administrative duties when required
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLSET
- Well organised with a keen attention to detail
- Cando attitude with Excellent communication skills
- Reliable and able to work to deadlines
- Confident and proficient in Xero accountancy software package
- Minimum of 2 years bookkeeping/credit control experience
- HR experience also preferred
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Part time, up to 16 hours per week, office based, days/times flexible
