We are looking for a passionate HSEQ Advisor to join our team at our Westhill, UK office on a full-time, staff basis.


In this role you will join the Fleet & Equipment HSEQ team and be responsible for advising and guiding on various aspects of HSEQ activity that support the business.

The role will predominately focus on Safety Management System (SMS) & Environmental Management System (EMS), with additional support into Quality Management System (QMS).

What will you be doing?

  • Support the implementation of the operational elements of the HSEQ strategy.
  • Responsible for the efficient, timely, accurate and costeffective management and delivery of the function's activities within the designated area of responsibility.
  • Utilise knowledge management tools to support business learning to achieve Predictable Performance and best practices.
  • Investigate HSEQ incidents/near miss events to identify learnings and opportunities for system improvements.
  • Synergi case development & support to Offshore & Local Management Teams.
  • Promote Predictable Performance and HSEQ awareness across projects, functions and departments.
  • Review Supplier HSEQ requirements including development, maintenance and implementation in subcontracts.
  • Evaluate Supplier risk / criticality assessments.
  • Worksite level HSEQ data review & analysis.
  • Creation of HSEQ internal and external audit schedule.
  • Support and participate across HSEQ internal/external audits.
  • Trend reporting of HSEQ performance.
  • Conduct or participate in emergency response exercises.
What experience would we like you to have?

  • Previous experience in the marine/energy industry.
  • Professional qualifications in any of the HSEQ disciplines, or mixture of experience and formal qualifications.
  • Good understanding of ISO 45001, 14001 & 9001 standards.
  • Member of professional body e.g., IOSH,IIRSM, AASP, IEMA, IRCA
  • Qualified and experienced Auditor.
  • Currently possess or able to obtain BOSIET and OGUK Offshore Medical.
  • Relevant experience of management systems gained within HSEQ role.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders and understand their needs to develop "fit for purpose" solutions.
  • A selfmotivated individual who has the proven ability to work efficiently and effectively with multiskilled teams.
  • Trained in Incident Investigation.
