_HGV DRIVER - VOLUMETRIC CONCRETE LORRY _
We a looking for new drivers to join our company driving a volumetric concrete lorries. We are based within Uckfield and work throughout the local area delivering concrete to our customers.


Key Personal Attributes

• Hold a full Class 2 Driving licence
• Hold a Digital Tachocard
• Must have a valid CPC
• Have a good timekeeping record
• Have excellent customer service skills to deal with our customers on sites
• Good, positive attitude

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily walk around checks on vehicle and report any defects to a manager to ensure vehicle is safe and legal at all times
• Ensure paperwork is handed into the office on a daily basis
• Ensure vehicle is kept clean and tidy
• Follow all site rules including health and safety policies and also the correct use of PPE
• Comply with driving hours and working hours directive
• To ensure the safe loading and operation of the vehicle at all times
• Full PPE and uniform will be provided

Hours of work will be Monday - Friday 7.00am-17.00pm

Occasional Saturday work will be required 7.00am-12.00pm,

You may be required to work extra hours to complete your workload (occasionally)

Full training will be provided

- driving: 2 years (preferred)

• Driving a Goods Vehicle (HGV): 2 years (preferred)
