Job Description:
Are you a patient and empathetic tutor looking to make a difference in a student's life? We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide personalised tutoring sessions for a bright student who faces challenges due to anxiety and chronic fatigue syndrome.
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored tutoring sessions focusing on English literature and language, intermediatelevel mathematics, history, and religious education (GCSE level).
- Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment to boost the student's confidence and engagement.
- Offer guidance and assistance with writing tasks, providing structured prompts and feedback as needed.
- Accommodate the student's energy levels and schedule, understanding the impact of chronic fatigue syndrome on her ability to learn consistently.
- Collaborate with the student's home and school resources, including materials provided by the school and other educational portals.
- Flexibility in tutoring locations, including home tutoring and sessions in Newtown.
- Maintain open communication with the student and her family to ensure their needs and concerns are addressed effectively.

*Introduction to Safeguarding - Available FREE via Suppleo Education

*Right to work in UK
*Two references
*Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (formerly CRB check) - available via Suppleo Education
*Experience in tutoring or teaching.
*Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students who may require additional support.
*Flexibility in scheduling and adapting teaching methods to accommodate the student's needs.
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the student, family, and other educational professionals.
