About us:

Thor Atkinson Steel Fabrications LTD are a steel fabrication company based in Ulverston, Cumbria.

We provide steel fabrication services including design engineering, fabrication, supply and installation of a wide variety of structural steel work, plant and buildings as well as bespoke fabrication projects.

Though based in Cumbria, we have been providing our services and supplying the major UK aggregate, concrete and quarry companies, alongside the UK farming sector since 1997.

Thor Atkinson Steel Fabrications Ltd are seeking experienced Lead Fitter(s) to work across sites in and around the London area.

Responsibilities:

You must have previous plant maintenance/ fitting experience
To carry out site fabrication and repair works, site structural repairs and replacement
To complete risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) to suitable standard and ensure all work in accordance to RAMS
Be able to provide sufficient supervision and direction fitter mate(s)
Operate mobile plant
Previous experience working on asphalt and concrete plants
You will be supplied with a Company van and fuel card

This role may consist of working away from home for up to 12 days.

You must hold a full driving licence.

We offer competitive rates, dependent on the individuals experience.

Salary:
Up to £62,400.00 per year
