Based within a busy television studio in Cumbernauld, we are recruiting for a Studio Supervisor to oversee the day to day running & maintenance of the studio.

We are a full time working studio, with on site departments including production offices, construction workshops, costume workshops, art department, & post production.

The studio complex is expanding to accommodate the growing needs of the production, with the role covering the day to day running of the studio and the expansion works currently underway.

Responsibilities & duties

• Overseeing the day to day maintenance and running of the studio
• Working with Production to oversee studio sustainability and energy efficiency, and ensuring sustainability goals are tracked and achieved
• Negotiating contracts with suppliers and procuring competitive quotes for utilities, waste management contracts, etc
• Collating quotes from suppliers and managing repairs
• Managing weekly studio stage diary
• Health & Safety updating training and tickets, fire alarm safety, ventilation and gas safety checks.
• Managing rotas and overseeing studio assistant, studio security, cleaners and janitor
• Plant bookings for studio
• Attending stage recces and responding to requests
• Establishing strong working relationship with all departments to ensure that repairs, maintenance and any other requests are dealt with in a timely & safe manner

Salary is dependent on experience

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
£1,000.00-£1,500.00 per week
