As Smart Choice Metering continues to thrive and grow, a new position has arisen for a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Old Trafford, Manchester.

Smart Choice Metering is part of an exciting group of companies (including a Football Club) based across the Fylde Coast, Manchester, and South Africa with a turnover of £110 million.

Here at Smart Choice Metering, we deliver smart meter solutions to domestic customers, business, and energy suppliers.

Our team of fully qualified Smart Meter Engineers are committed to the UK Government's Smart Metering Implementation Programme (SMIP), an energy-industry led initiative to roll-out approximately 53 million smart meters to domestic properties and non-domestic sites in Great Britain by 2025.

Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Manage the day-to-day management of both returns and deliveries of various assets & equipment.
Support in organising the onsite warehouse to prepare various tool kits for both new starters and existing engineers from the range of equipment available on site.
Work collaboratively with various Operations Managers onsite to ensure that our engineers and logistics suppliers receive the stock expected in a timely manner.
Must have strong attention to detail & communication skills.
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel independently to report on stock levels.
Able to work independently and manage own workload.
Always follow Health and Safety policies and procedures.
