The nursery will undergo a lot of change within your first year, with your start date expected to coincide with the nursery opening, expansion to be ongoing, and employees all finding their feet.

There will be a lot of opportunity to develop, but communication will be key to ensure a successful and happy work environment for you and the growing team.


Responsibilities:


  • Support and uphold developmentally appropriate lesson plans for young children
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
  • Support in observations and assessments of children's progress
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
  • Ensure the health and safety of all children in your care

Requirements:


  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
  • Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work well independently, as well as follow direction
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children

Job Type:

Salary:
£19,000.00-£21,217.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 per week
