This vacancy is based in Newby Bridge, Cumbria


As a Night Warden & Stores what does the role entail:
To ensure site security and safety cover during the evening and overnight. Provide customer service and support to all our clients during the evening and night. To support the Centre stores maintenance and domestic duties as required.


Your day will consist of

  • Managing guest queries throughout the night
  • Safeguarding the centre and ensuring the safety and security of our clients
  • To act as first point of contact and onsite liaison for problem solving for both internal & external clients, including holding the Centre emergency contact phone with overnight support if required by the duty Senior Management Cover.
  • Double check fire list(s) are in the box and individual medical forms including visiting leaders are in the medical forms box.
  • Log and report overnight events for day manager to action
  • To monitor the offsite groups, sign out board and report any problems.

This job is for you, if

  • You have previous experience within a night warden or general maintenance capacity would be advantageous desirable not essential
  • You have a good standard of education to G.C.S.E level or equivalent
  • You have a valid 16hour First Aid Certificate (Training available if required)
  • You have good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • You have great attention to detail and take pride in delivering a quality service.
  • You are a confident team worker who can work on their own initiative or work as part of a team.
  • You can work unsociable hours, including evenings and weekends.
Successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
