At The Supply Room, we work with a range of schools, including Primary schools, and SEN (Special Educational Needs) schools.

We are dedicated to providing high-quality education and support to all students, and as a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in achieving this mission.

To be a successful Teaching Assistant, there are certain soft skills and qualifications that are necessary.

Previous childcare experience: The minimum requirement for this role is previous childcare experience, either professional or personal. This could include work as a babysitter, nanny, tutor, or even volunteering in a school or community centre.

As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will vary depending on the school and the needs of the students.


However, some common responsibilities include:

Supporting the classroom teacher: You will assist the teacher in delivering lessons, providing one-on-one support to students, and helping to create a positive learning environment.

Working with individual students: You may be responsible for working with individual students who need extra support, whether that be academically, socially, or emotionally.

Providing administrative support: You may be required to help with administrative tasks such as preparing materials for lessons, organizing classroom resources, or creating displays.

Assisting with behaviour management: Part of your role will involve helping to manage student behaviour and encouraging positive classroom behaviour.

Salary:
£82.50-£90.00 per day
