Job Summary:


The Head of Operations and HR is integral to the efficient functioning of the global offices and line management of wider ops team.

You will be a key stakeholder and work closely with decision makers across the business. Effective relationship building and ability to engage with employees at all levels of the business is a must. This role is very fast paced and no two days will be the same.

You will need to effectively think on your feet and address problems as they arise, whilst simultaneously juggling strategic projects.


Operations Function

  • Responsibility and management of the IT Infrastructure, hardware, and security
  • Liaise with building manager on any building matters
  • Oversee operational function of the business including all daytoday office matters
  • Work with line managers to improve and implement clear working processes across the business
  • Work with the marketing team to resolve any website or social media issues and ensure website optimisation
  • Supplier contract management including negotiation, establishing, and maintaining relationships
  • Facilitation and overseeing new projects
  • Manage legal liabilities, GDPR, temp payroll and compliance function
  • Amend/approve requested TOB amendments from clients to ensure the interests of the business are protected.
  • Planning and organising company events and trips
  • Regular CRM checks and maintenance
  • Facilitate and negotiate renewals for insurance across the business
  • Troubleshooting technical issues when appropriate and a proactive approach to minimising future issues
  • Assisting with operations for international offices where appropriate
  • Reporting on behalf of the management team

HR Function

  • Liaise with legal advisors regarding employment law matters
  • Management of all internal HR matters across all offices
  • Managing the onboarding and offboarding processes for all employees
  • Compose and issue letters of employment and contracts
  • Monitor all employee anniversaries, birthdays, probation periods & appraisal processes
  • Manage the Bamboo HR system
  • Calculate and monitor leave allowances for all employees
  • Research and stay informed on employment regulations in all countries in which Tiger operates
  • Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment & performance management concerns
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Work with senior management to implement and run training sessions
  • Maintain and actively improve team performance and culture across the business
  • Involvement in learning and development initiatives

Skills / Experience Required

  • Previous demonstrable HR, Operations and management experience
  • Able to work under pressure whilst remaining calm composed at pace
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with all levels of staff
