£60,000+ (based on experience)

Your tasks will also include:
Tender Submission
- Receiving, Reviewing and Sharing Relevant ITT documents with the bid team.
- Complete ITT submission to include but not limited to;
- Review ITT documents and highlighting relevant tender information and related specifications required to ensure compliant bids, and share with team
- Subcontractor and supplier quotes with support from procurement team
- Material Take Off
- Tender Programme
- Tender Estimate
- Attending pre and post tender meetings with Clients
- Delivering Tender Presentations
- Tender Risk Register & Analysis with support from tender team where required in preparation for internal adjudication
- Update Weekly Tender Tracker & Allocation
- Deliver Tender Handovers in conjunction with Contracts Director /
Client / Supplier Relationships
- Making introductions and presentations to clients and suppliers as needed
- Building lasting connections with important clients and suppliers
- Finding new clients and suppliers as needed to fulfill the business's requirements and key performance indicators.
Business Improvement
- Gather firsthand information from sites and ongoing projects
- Conduct research to obtain data on labour costs, materials, and production times etc.
- Attend monthly CVR's on a quarterly basis for feedback on current projects
To be successful in this position the Senior Estimator must have:
- Strong understanding of heavy civils, tunnelling and trenchless works
- Experience in production of winning bids for £500k £20m projects
- Proficient in the use Microsoft Suite
- Word, Excel, Power Point
- Strong Writing & Communication Skills
- Organised with a keen eye for detail
- Multitasker able to support multiple teams in various remote locations
- Capable of working along on bids or as part of a larger team
- NEC 3 and NEC 4 Understanding
- Experience in Bid Strategy and Risk Costing
- MS Project
Desirable
- Auto-Cad Experience
- Degree Educated, Working Towards Chartership
- Site Experience in Tunnelling or Civil Engineering
