Snape Contracting Ltd undertakes construction and buildings maintenance projects. We operate in the public and private sector and primarily work on social housing, education and commercial projects.

As an ambitious and growing company, we are also developing a portfolio and track record in the delivery of Listed property restoration, healthcare and leisure projects.

We operate across much of the south west, including Avon, Devon, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Wiltshire and Worcestershire.

Job description

Due to continued expansion we are currently looking for a Driver / Labourer to work in our Bristol area, This will also entail commuting to our main office in Swindon and working in this area if need be.

This role will involve travelling to each of our projects which are predominately in and around the Bristol and Swindon area but can sometimes be further afield.

About you:

A good standard of onsite Health & Safety
Reliability and tidiness is essential
Good organisation and communication skills
A 'cando' attitude.
Able to listen and take instructions.
Previous experience as a commercial driver is preferred
Familiarity with flatbed trucks, vans, or other relevant vehicles is a plus.

About the role:

Fulltime Monday to Friday
Salary: competitive & negotiable based on experience
A full driving licence is required
We are looking for an immediate/near Future start.
Ensuring sites are left tidy.
Caring about your site/job.
Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations
Carrying out any other duties as reasonably instructed by the Project Manager or Site Manager.
Supervision and training will be provided.
Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of items
