Qualifications
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Formal Training
Recognised professional accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA) or local equivalent.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish/ Enhance invoice processing process, ensure the AP team functions to policy
- Streamline payment process and implement required changes.
- Provide required support in the procure to pay function
- Review/Mature and manage all expense accrual processes
- Identify/ Eliminate Duplicate payment of invoices
- Enhance electronic payment file integrity with focus on full integration with HSBC
- Manage SOD conflicts within global AP
- Define/ monitor invoice prepayments
- Streamline supplier onboarding process in conjunction with indirect procurement
- Implement & track/review global invoice coding to ensure the integrity of reporting
- Review and improve payroll function
- Support payroll activity and establish processes to eliminate single point of failure exposure by establishing an EMEA payroll team
- Manage payroll processing onboarding
- Support Audit request both corporate & local
- Provision of global supplementary schedules as required for quarterly reporting.
- Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.
- Strategic support for executive management
- Support business finance for annual budgeting requirements including any future finance strategy
- Define any additional procedures that can support/ compliment cross functional deliverables
- Ad hoc Operational & Finance requests
