Are you an experienced Training & Compliance Manager seeking a permanent contract with a forward thinking, market leader in the financial and insurance sector? If so we want to hear from you This is a fully remote position.

You will be working from home.

We are delighted to be working with a multi-functional financial business who specialise in an array of insurance offering to commercial and domestic customers across the UK.

As part of their ongoing coaching strategy, they are seeking a Training & Compliancemanager to join their team and help shape the businesses culture of development for internal staff.


The main duties will be:

  • Lead the company to comply with financial rules and regulations following FCA guidelines
  • Design and develop strategies and processes to lead an effective compliance programme
  • Investigate and report on any external and internal client/customer complaints
  • Provides reports on a regular basis to the SMT, informing them of the operation and progress of compliance legislation
  • Ensure proper and appropriate reporting of violations or potential violations as per FCA guidelines
  • Ensure compliance records are up to date and maintained
  • Audit customer records on a monthly basis and provide written data to support TCF
  • Regularly review all financial promotions & websites to ensure all are within FCA guidelines
  • Develop scripts to train and develop employees following FCA guidelines
  • Liaise with HR to deliver a Compliance induction to new starters covering: FCA/TCF/AML/GDPR and Complaints
  • Lead on regulatory changes in the field of compliance: PCIDSS, GDPR, IDD, SMCR
  • Ensure completion of FCA Gabriel Return completed accurately and timely
  • Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
  • Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations
  • Achieves and supports a company training plan and department activities. Develops the internal and external training programme
  • Technical experience in the insurance sector.
  • Responsible for the delivery of training for technical and nontechnical skills for existing and new insurance products
  • Monitor and evaluate training program's effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them
  • Coordinates training plans and schedules in line with the company plan, ensuring timelines are met.
  • Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary
Previous experience within a training and compliance role
Good attention to detail
Highly organised and strong attention to detail
Previous experience in motor insurance and property insurance background is advantageous
