Salary:
£2- 28K, depending on experience.

Based in our office in Camden Town, London NW1

Llama Travel is an award-winning tour operator specialising in tours to Latin America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Executive to help grow the business.

The role

We're looking for a content marketer to write SEO blogs for Llama Travel, write our weekly newsletter and regularly post to our social media accounts.

Good copywriting skills are essential, as is the ability to come up with fresh content ideas. The rest can be taught on the job.

Other duties include writing copy for the Llama Travel brochure and website, and contacting journalists for HARO and press trips.

Depending on the applicant's strengths, the role can be expanded to include PPC duties, graphic design for print and web ads, video content creation.

Or in fact, anything we haven't thought of.

Your primary duties will include:

Pitch and write guest posts for popular travel blogs, e.g. "five easy day trips from Cusco"
Write engaging SEO content for Llama Travel's website
Come up with ideas for the weekly newsletter
Post regularly on the Llama Travel Social accounts
Run UGC campaigns
Monitor Twitter and HARO sites for journalism requests and respond promptly
Write descriptions for countries and holidays
Update old SEO blogs to keep them ranking

Requirements:

Demonstrable copywriting skills (must have written a published blog before)
Prior knowledge of SEO basics
Has travelled to at least one of our destinations
Can come up with ideas for new content (for newsletter, blogs and socials)

The following additional skills are desirable:

Experience of SEO marketing
Experience of Social Media Marketing
Experience running UGC campaigns
Examples of prior content (social media campaigns, blogs etc)
Experience working with a CMS
Experience working with a bulk mailer like Mailchimp
Graphic design experience (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and illustrator)
PPC skills
Video content creation

The package
The initial salary is £2- 28,000 per annum, depending on your experience. There are pension contributions and a travel allowance and other industry benefits.
