GroupM's primary purpose is to maximize performance of WPP's media agencies by operating as leader and collaborator in trading, content creation, sports, digital, finance, proprietary tool development and other business-critical capabilities.
-About The Team
The Investment team is one of the core units in GroupM with a primary focus on negotiating, managing and delivering all the media deals across all Media Owners and within GroupM Speciality Businesses.
Within the Investment Data & Intelligence team, we are responsible for analysis and reporting & data systems utilised by the wider Investment UK team.
We aim to simplify processes, give insight and enable the Investment team to be as effective as possible.The Role
This is a 24 month apprenticeship in project management. You will play a central role to the Investment Data & Intelligence team in driving, managing and streamlining projects. You will be working with stakeholders involved in the end to end delivery of technical and data driven projects.- The overall life cycle of your role in each project will consist of:
- Fact Find > Plan > Collaborate > Manage & Drive Progress > Track > Report
- This role requires you to be a driving force between the team executing and a communication/planning force for the end clients within the Investment team.

You'll get to work with a wide range of systems and infrastructure from across the group, with a wide breadth of exposure given the full scope of operating units within the business.
Responsibilities
- Conducting detailed project planning of schedules for phases, stages, steps and tasks including major and minor milestones, deliverables and dependencies.
- Managing progress and risk by ensuring that clear, current information about past/present/future activities & deliverables is understood and appropriately acted upon by stakeholders.
- Facilitating collaboration via appropriate channels and protocols (e.g., collaboration tools, RACIs, document storage structure, filename conventions, etc.)
- Harnessing available data to track progress.
- Report, forecast, analyse and recommend action about and related to project progress within regular meetings and team channels and QBRs.
- Whilst there is no technical background experience required, you will need to work between technical and non technical teams, able to communicate in the appropriate fashion so that the stakeholder is able to understand their next actions and/or what the updates mean to them.
Skills, Experience and Behaviours
- Highly organized, detail/process/problemsolving oriented with an ability to produce strong documentation, and perform under pressure in structured and unstructured environments.
- Able to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders in a professional, authoritative manner, bring clarity to ambiguous situations and drive progress.
- Ability to plan, organize and run effective, collaborative meetings and workstreams.
