About the Role

We are looking to recruit a reliable, hardworking, and multi-skilled team-player to join our small but busy Building Control Team.

You should have demonstrable experience of working in an office environment dealing with customers.

You will be responsible for ensuring a professional customer service is given to the Public, Architects, Builders and Agents. You will have to ensure that the highest standards are always adhered to. You will need to demonstrate effective communication skills, deal with challenging and demanding situations and work well under pressure.


The post will involve a variety of technical administrative work, providing organisational, operational, and administrative support to the Building Control Surveyors.

You will input data into relevant spreadsheets and databases, monitor mail and inboxes and respond within set deadlines.


With the above duties in mind, we are looking for someone who has excellent organisational, IT, customer care and communication skills.

You will need to be highly motivated, work well within a team as well as on your own initiative, with the ability to prioritise and complete a variety of administrative tasks in a busy environment.

Multi-tasking where appropriate, you will need to bring your proven administrative knowledge and experience to the role.

This is a full-time position on a fixed term contract for 12 months.
